Mission Statement

The objects of this Chapter shall be to afford an opportunity for students of a chemical science to become better acquainted, to secure the intellectual stimulation that arises from professional association, to obtain experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, to foster a professional spirit among the members, to instill a professional pride in the chemical sciences, and to foster an awareness of the responsibilities and challenges of the modern chemist.

Meeting Schedule


GCSU's Chemistry Club meets every two weeks on alternating Wednesdays and Thursdays.


****Please Note - all Thursday meeting times were changed from 4pm to 5pm to accommodate our

Sophomore members (OChem lab conflict)!****

Upcoming Events

  • Middle Georgia ACS Local Section meeting, November 11th at 6pm at Mercer University - Speaker William Chamberlin (*Carpooling will be available)
  • Wednesday, November 19th from 8-10pm will be a Trivia Battle between the sciences! We face off against Tri-Beta!
  • Movie Night coming soon - let us know what you would like to watch!


National Chemistry Week 2009 Theme: “Chemistry – It’s Elemental”
